Taiwan has a tropical climate varying from hot and humid in the south, to cooler temperatures in the north and inland mountainous region. winters are short and tend to be mild, white summer is usually hot. with plenty of humidity, throughout the country sudden rain showers occur frequently and visitors are advised to travel with rain gear.

in the typon season (may to nov) fludding and mudslides are commom. make sure that you check the weather before you stay in taiwan, because taiwan can come across harsh weather. cloudiness is persistent and extensive all year round. the climate is tropical, marine, rainy season during southwest monsoon.
